I just realised it yesterday, time has changed.
While walking Cujo, I looked up at the sky a lot and thought - why does time move so quickly, it seeps through my fingers like water down the drain - and all at the wrong time. Why does time stretch and never come to pass quickly enough when we want to? It's not a matter of "I haven't done enough" but more of - why do I not have more time? I know I'll never be running forth to fill it up. No. The desire to do so will be strong, but it won't last long.
I just don't want to -see- time slip away, just the time, not the opportunities - although that hurts too.
Why am I so attracted to darkness, eternity, all such immoral things?

Yes, but.
I like such things because within them lies an infinite stretch of time, time that passes either so quickly that you never notice it go; or time that passes wearily in twilight hours, but you still never notice it go- because when black replaces black only a few can tell the difference. The faces will change, but it all really depends on where the light comes from.
